Bring Your Bikes
Bikes can access the park from the following locations.
- Car Park on Hollygate Lane
- Using Grantham Canal from Main Road (connects to highway cyclepath) or Hollygate Lane
- North Entrance onto Stragglethorpe Road
- Holme Lane - using multi-user path
- Main Road Cotgrave - using bridleway opposite entrance to Nottinghamshire Golf Club
Bring Your Horse
Horses can access the park from the following locations:
- Car Park on Hollygate Lane
- North Entrance on Stragglethorpe Road
- Horse Gate at the entrance to Colliers Way
- Holme Lane - using multi-user path
- Main Road Cotgrave - using bridleway opposite entrance to Nottinghamshire Golf Club
There is no parking area for horse boxes or horse lorries. The car parks have height restriction barriers.
Fishing Club at Heron Lake
The fishing rights of Heron Lake in the centre of Cotgrave Country Park are leased to Cotgrave Welfare Diamond Angling Club.
